Description

Hidden Village is a resident-owned cooperative (ROC) community in Yucaipa, San Bernardino County - a quieter foothill location about 10 miles east of San Bernardino. The 81-lot community is restricted to residents 55 and older.

Yucaipa sits at the edge of the San Bernardino National Forest, offering a more rural feel than nearby urban centers while still providing access to shopping, dining, and services in the surrounding area. The hot-dry climate is typical for inland Southern California foothill communities.

Lot rent ranges from $450 to $750 monthly and includes trash pickup, water, and sewer. The community is managed on-site and operates as a resident co-op, meaning residents have a voice in how the community is run. Pets are welcome with community approval.

The park includes a clubhouse and swimming pool, and offers off-street parking on paved streets.

Local Climate

Hidden Village MHP is located in Climate Zone 2. A HOT-DRY climate is defined as a region that receives less than 20 inches (50 cm) of annual precipitation, and where the monthly average outdoor temperature remains above 45°F (7°C) throughout the year.

Knowing your area’s climate zone (as assigned by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building America Program into one of eight zones), can help you predict your heating and cooling needs. Humidity and temperature can of course vary, even by county.

The Building America HOT-DRY climate zone corresponds to the portions of IECC zones 2 and 3 in the dry category.
