Ready to retire your lawn mower before you retire yourself? Welcome to Shephard's Grove, Ankeny's newest premier 55+ community where life is all about enjoying your home- not spending every weekend maintaining it. This brand-new 2025 home offers 1680 square feet, 4 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, making it the perfect place for visiting grandkids, overnight guests, a hobby room, or finally having that home office you've always wanted. The bright, open concept layout is designed for everyday comfort and effortless entertaining. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of cabinet space, and flows seamlessly into the living and dining areas. The spacious primary suite includes a walk-in closet and private bath, while three additional bedrooms provide endless flexibility. Life at Shephard's Grove is about spending less time on chores and more time doing what you love-whether that's traveling, golfing, spoiling the grandkids, or simply relaxing. With a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere and a future community clubhouse, Shephard's Grove is designed for active adults looking for a carefree lifestyle in one of Ankeny's most appealing locations, 5 minutes from town, with a country, peaceful feel. Warning: Side effects of living here may include making new friends, spending more time on the porch, and wondering why you didn't move sooner. Come see why downsizing doesn't have to mean giving anything up- it just means gaining more time for what matters most.
